A Legacy of Craftsmanship
At the bench is Owner and Master Goldsmith, Mark Peddie, a second-generation jeweller with more than 40 years of experience. Formally trained in South Africa in the 1980s, Mark’s artistry has earned multiple awards and the trust of clients across New Zealand. Having worked and lived in the East Coast Bays for over 20 years, he’s become the go-to jeweller for many North Shore families—some of whom now represent three generations of clients.
Mark’s philosophy is simple: “Jewellery should tell your story, beautifully and forever.” His greatest joy comes from seeing clients’ faces light up when they see their new creation for the first time, or when a beloved heirloom is restored to its former brilliance.
Local Roots, Community Heart
Beyond the studio, Mark is a proud supporter of the local community. As Chair of the Mairangi Bay Business Association, he’s helped grow the iconic Mairangi Bay Food & Wine Festival into one of the North Shore’s most anticipated annual events.
When he’s not in the workshop, you’ll find him out fishing on the Hauraki Gulf or catching up with friends over a beer at the Tiger Bar in the village.
